Return & Refund Policy

1. Introduction

Thank you for shopping with Colors Of Wardrobe. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return or request a refund/exchange in accordance with the terms outlined below.

2. Return / Refund / Exchange Window

  • You may request a return, exchange or refund within 30 days of delivery of the product. 

  • Requests made after 30 days from delivery will not be accepted.

3. Conditions for Return / Exchange / Refund

To be eligible for a return/exchange/refund:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in the same condition as you received it. 

  • The original tags, labels, packaging must be intact. 

  • You must have the order invoice or proof of purchase / order number

  • Items marked “final sale,” discounted items (if your policy so states), or any items defined as “non-returnable” (see Section 8) will not be eligible for return/refund.

4. How to Request a Return / Exchange / Refund

To initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery at:

    • Email: shop@colorsofwardrobe.com

    • Provide your order number and the reason for return/exchange.

  2. We will review your request and if approved provide instructions for returning the item (e.g. return address, shipping label if applicable).

  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all tags/labels.

  4. Ship the item back to us (cost/responsibility of return shipping outlined below).

5. Refunds, Exchanges & Store Credit Options

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • If approved, you may choose one of the following (depending on your preference and item eligibility):

    • Full refund to original payment method

    • Exchange for another size / colour / product (subject to availability)

    • Store credit / gift voucher of the equivalent value

  • Refunds will be processed within [7–14 business days] of receipt and inspection of the return.

  • For exchanges, the replacement item will be dispatched once the original item is received and approved.

6. Return Shipping Costs & Responsibility

  • Unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or error on our part return shipping cost will be borne by the customer.

  • If the return is due to our mistake (defective/damaged product, wrong item sent), we will provide a pre-paid return shipping label or reimburse the return shipping cost.

  • For exchanges and returns initiated by the customer (change of mind, wrong size, etc.), shipping charges (if any) will be clearly communicated prior to approval.

7. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or incorrect (different from what was ordered) please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) with photos of the product and packaging.

  • Upon verification, we will accept the return and offer either a full refund or exchange (your choice), including free return shipping.

8. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

  • Some items may be non-returnable / non-refundable this will be clearly indicated on the product page at the time of purchase.

  • Typically, non-returnable items may include:

    • Items marked “final sale” or “clearance”

    • Customized or made-to-order items (if any)

    • Items damaged by customer misuse, wear & tear, or after use

  • Requests for return/refund of such items will be rejected.

9. Cancellation Before Dispatch

  • If you wish to cancel an order before we dispatch it, please contact us immediately.

  • If the order has not been shipped, we will cancel it and refund the amount in full (or offer store credit), as per your preference.

  • Once items are dispatched, standard return policy applies.

10. Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after receipt and approval of returned item.

  • The time taken for the refunded amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment method.
